Before I quit my job, I got a taste of self-employment by watching my husband who was already self-employed. He did a really good job of "clocking out" when I got home so we could eat dinner together and relax. Now that I'm self employed too, the lines get blurred a little more often. I find it challenging that my computer contains both my "work" and my "play". I may hop on the computer over the weekend to check Facebook or read a friend's blog post and before I know it, I'm editing photos or writing a blog post. It's a vicious cycle! However, I do know this: when I allow myself to take a break, I am better at my job, I enjoy my job more, and I feel less stress. And who wouldn't want that? I can’t agree with you more!
