Times are tough! I get it. But these are a few things that I think are super great and wanted to tell you about.
1. The J-41 Dune Flat – My friend *Sara owns these shoes, and when I saw them, I fell TOTALLY IN LOVE. I paid $94 for these shoes at R.E.I. *that very day*. That’s the most I’ve *ever* spent on shoes, but these are totally worth it. (Especially since they’re a lot cheaper on Amazon. Hmph.) I especially recommend these if you’re someone who is on your feet a lot. I just use them as versatile summer adventure shoes, though.
2. The Super Secret Spy Lens – HOW COOL IS THIS? Mine arrived last week, and I haven’t had the chance to play with it much, but I am SUPER excited about it. Photojojo is awesome, so really, just buy anything from them and you’ll probably be psyched. If you’re a broke photographer like me, just sign up for their newsletter. (PS. No, they don’t bribe me to rave about them. I just think they’re really awesome.)
3. It’s Blitz : Yeah Yeah Yeahs – I’ve never been super into the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, though I do love a few of their songs. I bought this album the day it came out, though, and it’s fabulous. The song “Hysteric” is mine and Noah’s song, so it has a special place in my heart. (If you download only one track, it should be that one!)

The only song I’ve heard from that album is “Heads Will Roll” and I liked it. I haven’t really liked much of their earlier stuff either, but I may need to track down more of their music if the rest of the album is good.
